The tester has been developed based on the many years of experience of ELCOM, a. s. in supplying End of Line testers (EOL) for various customers in many industries and forms. The great variety of customer requirements has led to the need to evaluate the most important aspects and elements that testers must meet. Based on this analysis and know-how, ELCOM, a. s. developed the optimal HW and SW concept for the universal platform called EOLT.

New robotized technology line at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. 4 robotic workstations with Stäubli robots and an ABB YuMi collaborative robot. Everything is interconnected using the BOSCH conveyor system and the BECKHOFF control system with a visual inspection provided by the Matrix Vision mvBlueGEMINI cameras.

Electric motor manufacturers must have their products checked and declare the required parameters to their customers. The most important aspect is the repeatability and accuracy of measurements in each test.
Our test beds for electrical machines, and the test procedures we have developed and brought to perfection, are capable of meeting the strictest requirements for proving the quality of the tested electric motors. This is also appreciated by Siemens, a long-time customer.
A state-owned company faced a serious issue when it was necessary to demolish an old substation due to radioactive contamination and to build a new one in its place, which meant precise preparation of pre-project and project documentation for negotiating with potential suppliers and for approval processes at the authorities where documentation is the key to have the proper permits issued or not.
Thanks to our long-term experience we were able to prepare professional pre-design and project documentation.
We also organized a design team and a team of subcontractors and further discussed all requirements and standards with the customer and the investor.
The main result of our efforts was the smooth issue of a final zoning and planning permit and building permit.
We provided the necessary calculations of voltage drops, short-circuit conditions in the grid, lighting calculation, etc.
Everything was handed over to the customer for comments and after a while we were offered author’s supervision and to process the project documentation.
The result was a comprehensive solution involving cross-industry collaboration.
